So what?
My calendar ends December, 31.
I just buy a new one.”

Verdronken vlinder

Monarchs crowd the sky at the Sierra del Chincua sanctuary in Angangueo, Mexico. Millions of monarch butterflies arrive in central Mexico each fall after traveling between 1,200 and 3,000 km from Canada and the United States.

t was that time of year again, when thousands of monarch butterflies gather at Point Pelee in Ontario before embarking on one of nature’s most astounding journeys—a 3,000-km trip to central Mexico. The tip of the Pelee peninsula, Canada’s southern-most landmass, acts as a jumping-off point for the butterflies, providing a shorter way across Lake Erie as they head south. “They come from further north, and Point Pelee is a stopping ground on their way,” says Meaghan Ruston, Point Pelee National Park’s promotions officer. Park staff, along with visitors and amateur lepidopterists, carry out an official count of the butterflies in order to monitor their numbers. Their roosting sites will be tracked as they make their way through the United States as well. In Canada, the largest populations of the bright orange and black insects are found in Ontario and Quebec. The monarchs that migrate south each fall are the unique “Methuselah generation”—long-lived butterflies that can make it all the way to Mexico and back as far as the southern U.S. before having to reproduce. Although monarchs have been undertaking this monumental journey for thousands of years, it was only in the mid-1970s that researchers discovered they were overwintering in the volcanic mountain ranges of central Mexico.

Stevie V – Dirty Cash (money Talks).
Video hosted on Youtube.

he Adventures Of Stevie V was a British dance music act from Bedfordshire, England, who, in the early 1990s, scored several hits on the UK Singles Chart, and the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. “Dirtee Cash”, a song recorded by the British grime artist Dizzee Rascal, based on the original song “Dirty Cash” by Vincent/Walsh, was released as the fourth single from Dizzee Rascal’s fourth studio album, Tongue N’ Cheek. It was released digitally on 21 September 2009, and followed his number-one UK hits “Holiday” and “Bonkers”. It was his first solo song from the album and reached #10 in the UK chart. This version sampled both the chorus and verse from the original “Dirty Cash (Money Talks)”. Rascal told The Sun newspaper that the song, “is about how if you ain’t got money, but you still spend it anyway, life is gonna bite you in the arse.” At the 2010 BRIT Awards, Florence Welch, from Florence and The Machine was joined by Dizzee Rascal to perform a mash-up of her version of “You’ve Got The Love” and his “Dirtee Cash”. The mash-up, entitled “You Got the Dirtee Love”, was released on 17 February 2010, one day after the BRIT’s performance.

Stevie V – Dirty Cash (money Talks)

I’ve no excuse, I just want you to use me
Take me and abuse me
I got no taboos, I’ll make a trade with you
Do anything you wa-ant me to

Money talks, mmm-hmm-hmm, money talks
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh
Money talks, money talks
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh

(Dirty cash, dirty cash)

Meanwhile, back in the city, the real pill, the nitty gritty
Sell yourself for your own soul
For a nickel, not a bag of gold
Behold, to what you’ve been told
Plus the bubba and roomies below
Money is the cause, tell me what’s the path

(Dirty cash, that dirty cash)

(Mmm-hmm, money money)

I once had pride, now that’s all behind
I want to get rich quick
I want success and all that goes with it
And I’m gonna use my sex

Money talks, mmm-hmm, money talks
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh
Money talks, (you know) money talks, (ah-hah)
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh

(I want you, money)

I’m dirty cash, the one that you asked for
I’m wanted by the rich and the poor
More and more, you just can’t reject it
You’re the junkie and I inject it
Into your blood stream, it’s like a bad dream
Money’s the theme, do you know what I mean

Money talks,(you know) money talks (ah-hah)
Dirty cash I want you, dirty cash I need you, woh-oh

Talkin’ ’bout that money
Oh give it to me, gimme, gimme, gimme, money, money, money

Mmm hmm hmm hmm yeah
I want ant you, money
Got to have you money
Give it to me (fade)

There are stars in the Southern Sky…..

Southern Cross
The Southern Cross, Crux is commonly known as the Southern Cross, is the smallest of the 88 modern constellations, but nevertheless one of the most distinctive. It is surrounded on three sides by the constellation Centaurus, and to the south lies Musca. Ancient Greeks originally considered Crux to be part of Centaurus; however, the precession of the equinoxes gradually lowered these stars below the European horizon, and they were eventually forgotten. (At the latitude of Athens in 1000 BC, Crux was clearly visible, though low in the sky; by AD 400, most of the constellation never rose above the horizon for Athenians.

Eagles – Hotel California

“Seven Bridges Road”

There are stars
In the Southern sky

Southward as you go
There is moonlight
And moss in the trees
Down the Seven Bridges Road

Now I have loved you like a baby
Like some lonesome child
And I have loved you in a tame way
And I have loved you wild

Sometimes there’s a part of me
Has to turn from here and go
Running like a child from these warm stars
Down the Seven Bridges Road

There are stars in the Southern sky
And if ever you decide
You should go
There is a taste of thyme sweetened honey
Down the Seven Bridges Road
